HAUS OF SAVVY creates high-quality fetish and kink events for Sydney’s LGBTQ+ community. 

 

Our events are designed with creativity, intention, and a strong focus on consent, inclusivity, and community connection. From leather and rubber fetish nights to dance parties and play spaces, HAUS OF SAVVY celebrates self-expression, liberation, and queer kink culture.

 

Founded and produced by Richard Savvy, also known as The Naked Barber, HAUS OF SAVVY is backed by over a decade of experience producing some of Sydney’s most recognised fetish and leather events. Richard’s work includes community title competitions, fetish dance parties, themed bar nights, and private play events with each grounded in authenticity and community uplift.

 

 

An ’80s-themed leather bar night featuring classic anthems, leather, denim, and old-school cruising vibes. A nostalgic celebration of leather bar culture with a modern HAUS OF SAVVY twist.

A playful and body-positive night where liberation is celebrated. Featuring a Best Bum and Go-Go competition, CHAPS is a cheeky Sunday session held on the October long weekend, 

 

A bar night for the pet and handler community, with a strong focus on pups alongside ponies, cats, pigs, and more. DOG HAUS offers a welcoming space to socialise, connect, and celebrate pet play culture.

 

 

A men-only BDSM play party for men who enjoy playing with other men. Consent-focused and respectful, MEAT RACK is designed for those comfortable in structured kink play environments.

 

Held at Our Secret Spot, DYMK is a mixed-gender play party for the wider queer fetish community. Open to all genders, body types, and expressions, DYMK prioritises inclusivity, consent, and connection.

 

 

A signature HAUS OF SAVVY event and a key part of Richard Savvy’s legacy. Crowned Sydney Mr Leather 2012, Richard has long been involved in leather title events across Australia and internationally.

HAUS OF SAVVY proudly revived the Sydney Mr and Ms Leather titles and introduced the Sydney Bootblack titles in 2023 and recently added the Australian first ever Mx. title to the mix with the Sydney Leather Mx title. This annual event celebrates leather culture, leadership, and service, while uplifting community members on one of Sydney’s most important fetish stages during Sydney Leather Festival which is held at the end of July. 

 

 

HAUS OF SAVVY is also known for bringing back the iconic fetish dance party INQUISITION during Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival. This high-energy event combines music, performance, and fetish culture while raising funds for the Sydney Leather Festival and affiliated community organisations, including:
